Freddie F. Meyers, 65, of Lincoln, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at
5:53 a.m. at his home.

Lincoln – Freddie F. Meyers, 65, of Lincoln, died
Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 5:53 a.m. at his
home.
A Memorial service for Mr. Meyers will be held at
11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the
Peasley Funeral Home.
Military Rites will be accorded by American Legion
Post #263 of Lincoln.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Surviving Mr. Meyers are his son, Freddie Meyers of
Michigan; one brother John (Linda) Meyers of
Lincoln; one sister, Frances Stella Hawkins of
Richton Park, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy; two
brothers and his parents.
Freddie Franklin Meyers was born July 11, 1947, in
Lincoln, the son of John G. and Maggie Francis
Holland Meyers. He married Kathy in 1976. She
preceded him in death.

Mr. Meyers graduated from Lincoln High School. He served in the United
States Army. Following his years of military service, Freddie worked as
a school counselor. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ of
Galesburg.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln. |
