Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Thursday afternoon.
The cancellation of the sale of
540,000 tonnes of US soybeans by China weakened soybean futures.
The cancellation, the second in
two days, has totaled 840,000 tonnes.
Weekly export sales figures for
soybeans were also under trade expectations.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids mostly 5 to 7 cents lower at 6.74-7.04.
Soybean bids were mostly 24 to 30
cents lower at 13.84-13.92.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 6 to 7 cents lower at 6.88-7.05.
Soybean bids were 27 to 36 cents
lower at 13.95-14.12.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 6
cents lower at 6.65-7.13.
Soybean bids were 27 to 34 cents
lower at 14.11-14.33.
Wheat bids were mostly 12 to 15
cents lower at 7.52-7.80.
