Jessica Awe is the Mount Pulaski Senior-of-the-Month

[December 19, 2012]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Jessica Awe has been named December Senior-of-the-Month at Mount Pulaski High School. She is the daughter of Randy and Jennifer Awe of Elkhart.

Jessica has been consistently on the high honor roll and is vice president of the senior class. She is a four-year member of Spanish Club and the Spirit Squad and a two-year member of National Honor Society and FFA. She served on prom committee her junior year and was elected homecoming attendant her senior year.

She has been a valuable member of the Lady Toppers volleyball and basketball teams for four years.

In the community, Jessica is a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski. She has participated in National Honor Society service projects and is a member of the Topper 4-H club, exhibiting pigs for the past 10 years.

The Senior-of-the-Month program is co-sponsored by Johnson's Food Center and Mount Pulaski Pharmacy. Monthly winners receive $50 toward educational expenses and are eligible to compete for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award.
