The windows for this home were won by Toni Reifsteck when she attended a Habitat convention earlier this year. Sunday afternoon, Mark Liklosz with USG Corp. and the Habitat state board were on hand for the blessing.

Mayor Keith Snyder was also on hand and spoke about the importance of a home at Christmastime. He tailored his comments to reflect that much of our Christmas music centers on "home for the holidays."

Steve Allen has been the family's mentor through the process, and in fact he was the one who was instrumental in getting the Utterbacks into the program. He was assigned the duty of giving the family the traditional Habitat book. However, he said he felt that Tonita Reifsteck should be the one to do it, as she has given untold hours to Habitat. Reifsteck happily did the honors.

The Rev. Father Jeffrey Laible then presented the family with a Bible and delivered a blessing on the home.
