[February 02, 2012]  The Lincoln Christian University women's basketball team claimed a 52-39 victory Tuesday night over St. Louis College of Pharmacy in the Laughlin Center. After jumping out to a 23-12 halftime lead, LCU coach Amanda Bowman's Red Lions cruised to victory.

Freshman Tatiana Colclasure led LCU with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore Moriah Kirkpatrick recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Despite the win, the Red Lions shot only 30 percent from the field.

After the game, Bowman said: "I'm proud of how our team pulled together to get a win despite a poor shooting night. It was great that Alicia Carson was able to step up."

LCU will face NCAA Division III MacMurray College on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Jacksonville.
