 Freshman Tatiana Colclasure led LCU with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Sophomore Moriah Kirkpatrick recorded 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite the win, the Red Lions shot only 30 percent from the
field.
After the game, Bowman said: "I'm proud of how our team pulled
together to get a win despite a poor shooting night. It was great
that Alicia Carson was able to step up."
LCU will face NCAA Division III MacMurray College on Thursday at
7 p.m. in Jacksonville.
