Following the competition on Saturday, Lincoln coach Brian Herron
said: "This was a great meet for us. There were a lot of very good
teams here, and we did more than just hold our own. We were a little
banged up, but I thought our kids did a great job of battling today.
I thought we had a chance to do some really great things today, and
they surpassed what I had in mind. We have to stay focused and keep
pushing ourselves because we have another big meet in two weeks at
EIU."
