A whole lot of shaking at Christian Child Care

[February 08, 2012]  Tuesday morning, there was a whole lot of shaking going on in Logan County. Schools across the country took part in the first countrywide earthquake drill. The children at Christian Child Care took cover under the tables in their lunchrooms.

Although Lincoln does not have many problems with earthquakes, it is important that we are prepared. If it happens, the staff and children know what to do.

It is important to practice what to do in case of an emergency. This is why each month the children have fire drills and tornado drills. The center has a risk management guide that is always growing.

The center also urges families to have their own drills. If you have a plan in place, you will know what to do.

Christian Child Care is a three-star NAC-accredited child care center and a United Way agency. The center is in an Odd Fellows facility.
