Louella Moreland, director of youth services at Lincoln Public Library, occasionally visits Mrs. Lee's
seventh-grade class at Lincoln Junior High School for "Story Time."

During the class-long session, Mrs. Moreland shares a list of age-appropriate books with the students,
describing the main characters and giving an overview of the storyline. She gives the students the list
of books she is reviewing so they can make notes and remember the titles they would like to check out
of the school or public library.

Mrs. Lee's students have their own lists, called "Someday Books," with titles of books that they would like to
read "someday." The list can be long or short, and it may change over time, but it helps them keep track
of books they hear about or are from Mrs. Moreland's story sessions. Hopefully, the list keeps
growing and read books are replaced with new "Someday Books" as the students go through school and
become adults.

Louella Moreland visited three of Mrs. Lee's classes on Tuesday for Story Time. She tells students about books they might enjoy. She gives them background on characters and storyline so they can decide if the book is something they might enjoy.

Mrs. Lee and her seventh-grade students listened to Louella Moreland talk about 12 books during Story Time on Tuesday. The students can take notes on books they might enjoy and add them to the "Someday Books" list of stories they want to read.
