Postville Courthouse site director Stu Churchill looks on as guests fill the room near the refreshment table.

Nancy Saul and Sue Bidwell serve cake, ice cream and punch to the guests.

The downstairs portion of the courthouse fills quickly with those wishing to be a part of Abe's 203rd birthday celebration.

Brian "Fox" Ellis calls to all the guests in a song, urging them to join him upstairs to hear tales of Lincoln as a youth.

Tourism director Geoff Ladd has some fun with the spatula as Sue Bidwell looks on. What better way to celebrate a birthday than with a nice piece of chocolate cake?

A nicely decorated sheet cake featuring the signature stovepipe hat of our 16th president is the focal point of the refreshment table.

In the upstairs courtroom, Ellis tells the tale of Lincoln's near-death experience when as a youngster he was kicked in the head by a horse.
