Saturday morning the
Humane Society of Logan County hosted another successful fundraiser
at Friendship Manor in Lincoln. The promise of generous bowls of
chili or vegetable soup, a variety of drinks, and some delicious
desserts brought folks out in spite of it being one of the coldest
days Lincoln has seen in a while.
In addition to good
food, there were opportunities to support the organization by
buying sweatshirts, Tupperware, or a selection or two from a wide,
wide variety of baked goods.

Marilyn and Dan Wheat, Sharon Josserand, and
Don Mueller are ready to assist with clearing tables when diners are
finished with their meals.
