Friday night a large group gathered at the Lincoln Elks Lodge to participate in the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce's first-ever Trivia Night. There were eight teams playing, with an average of six to eight players per team.

Throughout the evening, teams were asked a wide variety of trivia questions. They decided their answer as a team, then submitted their answer to the scorekeepers. The highest scoring team of the round was called the Smarties and given Smartie candies as a reward. The lowest scoring team was referred to as the Dum-Dum's and received Dum-Dum suckers as their reward.

Teams could buy cheats or free answers and were also given opportunities to gain points by participating in other games such as a paper airplane toss and putt-putt golf.

Scorekeepers for the evening included Jon Tribler, Deb Ackerman and (not pictured) chamber director Andi Hake.

One means of earning extra points for your team was to sink golf balls in a putt-putt game. Patrick Doolin of Integrity Data takes a practice shot.

Teams were to bring their own "snacks." Some of them took the food portion of the evening very seriously.

Jennifer Lovett and Jenye Tribler of the chamber give a thumbs-up for the terrific turnout for Trivia Night.
