The Mount Pulaski American Legion Women's Auxiliary Unit 447 sponsored a prayer breakfast Saturday morning at Mount Pulaski American Legion Ryman-Fuiten Post 447.

In addition to enjoying some wonderful food and fellowship, the group also heard from Ray Wiedle, director of the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight program.

Pastor Rachel Stockel of the Mount Pulaski United Methodist Church gave the invocation.

It's time to eat! Biscuits, gravy and a wide variety of baked goods were offered for all to enjoy.

Saturday morning about a dozen veterans were present who have made the Honor Flight. Among them were two of last year's travelers, Charles "Chick" Holmes and Dwain Marten.
