[February 22, 2012]  NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Mike Fisher scored a power-play goal and added two assists as the Nashville Predators beat the Vancouver Canucks 3-1 on Tuesday night.

HardwareSergei Kostitsyn and David Legwand also scored for the Predators, who have won two straight. Dale Weise had the lone goal for the Canucks, whose four-game winning streak was snapped.

Fisher who sat out Sunday's game in Dallas due to illness, broke the scoreless tie 5:42 into the second period.

Pekka Rinne made 32 saves for the win. Roberto Luongo stopped 25 shots in the loss.

Ryan Suter saw Fisher make a backdoor move, and Fisher tipped the puck inside the left post from inches away on a power play for his team-leading 18th goal.

Kostitsyn scored a short-handed goal to give the Predators a 2-0 lead. Kostitsyn finished a 2-on-1 break at 13:16 when he fired a wrist shot from low in the right circle that beat Luongo to his glove side.

Weise trimmed Nashville's lead to 2-1 at 16:52 of the second. He skated across the crease and backhanded a shot to beat Rinne stick side.

With 2:51 left in the third, Legwand pushed the Predators' lead back to two goals when he scored from the slot as Luongo was pulled too far out of the net.
