LINCOLN -- William E. Riley Sr., 66, of
Lincoln, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at his home. |

Private family services are scheduled at a later
date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
William Edward Riley Sr. was born on March 4, 1945,
in Herrin, the son of Pansy Beatrice Riley and
stepfather Paul Ragan.
He is survived by his stepfather, of
Sherman; his children, Sandra Morton of
Mechanicsburg, William E. Riley Jr. of Springfield,
Andrea Cassidy of Dalton City, Madonna Moughan of
Lincoln, Matthew Riley, Christopher Riley and Megan
Wanless, all of Springfield, and Vanessa Riley of
Petersburg; four brothers, Butch Ragan of Buffalo,
Raymond Ragan of Virden, Logan Ragan of Lansing,
Kan., and Bobby Ragan of Springfield; one sister,
April Dambacher of Buffalo; 24 grandchildren; and
one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one
brother.
