Grain futures, livestock prices mixed

[January 05, 2012]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 7 cents to $6.50 a bushel; March corn was unchanged at $6.5850 a bushel; March oats fell 5.50 cents to $2.93 a bushel; while March soybeans rose 2.50 cents to $12.30 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.07 cent to $1.2162 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 1.13 cent to $1.5055 a pound; while February lean hogs fell 0.35 cent to 85.17 cents a pound.
