The new features include updated community profiles; a venue to
advocate for the renewal of wind energy tax credits; an opportunity
to learn about utility aggregation; a place to review the countywide
economic development master plan; a resource to search for available
commercial properties; and much more. The entire partnership board
has been involved in the creation of this new site, as well as a
local consultant, 3rd Wire Technologies. For the past few months
Michael Maniscalco, executive director of the partnership, has been
telling people, "We are only as good as we look." This new website
is a beginning to this facelift.
The partnership has also implemented new tools that will allow
them to see how successful the website is and what people are most
interested in. This new information will help the partnership
disseminate information with the methods that work the best.
Over the next few months the marketing overhaul includes plans to
repopulate the property database with new and existing commercial
properties countywide, develop and disseminate some hard-copy
materials, and identify a plan for publicizing the great offerings
Logan County has.
The Lincoln & Logan County Development Partnership is a nonprofit
