Seats still available for annual chamber dinner

[January 10, 2012]  The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to share in celebrating the successes of 2011 by attending the chamber's annual dinner Saturday, Jan. 21, at the American Legion. The chamber will be highlighting their successes over the past year and kicking off the 2012 year.

The evening will kick off with a social hour at 6 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m., and the program will begin at 8 p.m. During the evening the chamber will introduce new board members, celebrate retiring board members, introduce new chamber members and announce the 2011 Pride & Progress Award winners.

The Pride & Progress Awards are sponsored by the chamber's executive committee. The awards are designed to recognize outstanding achievement and promote positive awareness. Awards will be presented for Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Beautification Award and Excellence in Service. To be eligible to receive one of the above awards, businesses or individuals must be members in good standing of the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber is pleased to be celebrating one more year past and kicking off another great year to come. This event is open to all community members.

The mission of the chamber is to be an advocate for business by providing leadership, programs and services that create, protect and enhance the business environment for the benefit of chamber members and Lincoln and Logan County.
