Grain futures fall, livestock prices rise

[January 14, 2012]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 2.75 cents to $6.0225 a bushel; March corn fell 12 cents to $5.9950 a bushel; March oats fell 1.75 cent to $2.8250 a bushel; while March soybeans fell 24.25 cents to $11.5825 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 1.22 cent to $1.2247 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.57 cent to $1.5237 a pound; while February lean hogs rose 1.65 cent to 85.60 cents a pound.
