[January 16, 2012 The Humane Society of Logan County has their shelter up and running, and that means funds are needed to keep it in operation. One of the busiest organizations in Logan County kicked off the 2012 fundraising year with pancakes and sausages at Friendship Manor. The breakfast netted $1,100, with an additional $440 in merchandise sold.

The organization's next fundraiser will be a chili and vegetable soup lunch on Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at
Friendship Manor.
