The Spurs led 30-26 after the first quarter behind 13-of-23 shooting. Blair scored 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting and Duncan had nine points. San Antonio led by as many as 12 points, but after Gary Neal's jumper with 3:46 left put the Spurs up 22-10, Phoenix went on an 11-2 run to close the gap. Nash hit 6 of 8 shots in the quarter.
