[January 17, 2012 The Maple Club on the east side of Lincoln hosted the fourth annual Joyce Kinzie/Martin Luther King breakfast. Good attendance marked the event, with the Rev. Phillip L. Blackburn as the keynote speaker. Blackburn used King's earliest sermon to talk to the crowd about making a difference. The annual breakfast is to help raise funds for scholarships for minority students graduating from a Logan County high school and attending Lincoln College.
