LCU men's basketball vs. Moody

[January 18, 2012]  CHICAGO -- The Lincoln Christian University men's basketball team ended an eight-game losing streak when they came out on top against host team Moody Bible Institute 75-68 on Tuesday. Coming off a tough loss against Greenville College, the Red Lions of LCU were able to look to their senior leaders and find the win.

Senior Chris Lawson led LCU with 25 points and seven rebounds. Junior Brady Cremeens put up 19 points, 15 of which came from long range. Senior Mark Hamm added 17 points and seven rebounds.

Coming into the final stretch, the Red Lions (3-13) have lost six games decided within 10 points. LCU will face Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa, at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

LCU's School of Undergraduate Studies is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, Division II.
