Grains futures fall, livestock prices mixed

[January 19, 2012]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures fell in early trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 5.75 cents to $5.99 a bushel; March corn fell 7 cents to $5.97 a bushel; March oats fell 3.75 cents to $2.83 a bushel; while March soybeans fell 7.50 cents to $11.76 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.45 cent to $1.2307 a pound; March feeder cattle rose 0.33 cent to $1.5270 a pound; while February lean hogs rose 0.43 cent to 86.20 cents a pound.
