The
LCU men won 73-56. After just a four-point lead heading into
halftime, the Red Lions proved they were the dominant team by
outscoring Emmaus by 13 in the second half. Senior Chris Lawson
made his mark on the game by putting up 18 points to lead all
scorers. Junior Brady Cremeens added 17 points, 15 of which were
from the 3-point line. A season-high 11 Red Lions made the score
sheet, including freshman Brian Dyal and junior Justin Walen, who
recorded their first points as LCU Red Lions.
The men will be back on the court when they host the tough
Lindenwood University on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Laughlin Center.
The Lincoln Christian women's team beat Emmaus 53-51 on Saturday
afternoon. After a 22-21 lead heading into halftime, LCU coach
Bowman's team was able to seal the victory heading into the final
minutes.
Freshman Tatiana Colclasure led all scorers with 31 points, 13
rebounds and eight steals. Averaging 21 points per game, the
freshman is ranked third in the NCCAA Division II. Sophomore Moriah
Kirkptratick recorded 12 points for the Red Lions.

The LCU women will be back in action when they travel north to
face Moody Bible Institute in Chicago on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
LCU's School of Undergraduate Studies is a member of the National
Christian College Athletic Association, Division II.
