Lincoln Youth Wrestling results

[January 23, 2012]  PEKIN -- The Lincoln Youth Wrestling team traveled to Pekin on Sunday to compete in the Custer/Stoudt Open at Pekin High School. Lincoln results by divisions were as follows:

• 6 and under -- Cooper Atkins and Jacob Lawrence placed second, and Kayden Skelton and Bentley Wise were both fourth.

• Bantam -- Austin O’Donoghue and Tony Gandolfi placed first, and Coleman Atkins got second. Cade Tanner, Bryton Fuchs and Riley Helton took third. Dustin Meachum and Zane Hartman were fourth.

• Intermediate -- Ethan Towers and Kade Schmidt took first, and Tyler Werth was second. Alex Bogdanic, Collin Cogdill and Trevor Bree all finished third. Justin Ochem got fourth.

• Senior -- Chelsey Werth placed second.

The team will travel to El Paso next Sunday to compete in the EPG Mini Titan Rumble.
