Maintenance of the station and
apparatus
Apparatus maintenance for the month of
December has included Engine 5101 being out of service for the month
due to broken leaf springs, a hydraulic leak, a cooling line leak
and a corroded pipe on the pump.
5104 has developed an air leak which
is affecting response due to the brakes leaking down. The Engine
will not move until air pressure builds to release the air brakes.
The air line appears to be for the air actuated pump transfer valve.
This repair is to be completed as soon as 5101 is back in service.
