After losing a rough game to Lindenwood on Jan. 7, 101-65, the Red
Lions knew they had their work cut out for them. LCU started off
with an early 15-9 lead thanks to a couple of quick 3s by sophomore
Christian Lowery. Lindenwood then went on a 12-0 run due to four
back-to-back 3s. After trailing the entire second half, LCU managed
to tie the lead in the final minutes but were never able to jump on
top.
Senior Chris Lawson led the Red Lions with 25 points. Junior
Brady Cremeens added another 21. Senior captain Mac Ingmire provided
10 assists in the match.
The Red Lions shot 55 percent from the free-throw line, which
marks their low for the season. The size of Lindenwood also proved
to be a problem for LCU as they were outrebounded 48-31 on the
evening.
