Zion Lutheran Eagles split with Greenview

[January 26, 2012]  The Zion Lutheran School Eagles seventh-grade volleyball team defeated the Greenview Terriers on Monday by scores of 25-21 and 25-21.

Serving aces for the Eagles were Isabelle Thompson with 6, Katie Hunsley with 5, Lauren Canady and Mya Roberts with 3, and Ashlan Broom and Emma Cooper with 1 each.

Tori Tripplett led the ZLS eighth-grade team with 19 aces, three kills and two assists. The Eagles won the first game 25-16 but lost 13-25 and 19-25 in games two and three.
