Friday the State Bank of Lincoln hosted its first-ever Customer Appreciation Cookout on the lawn of the Woodlawn branch.

While there was tons of good food, Chelsea Altman, at left, may have been the most popular person there because she was the one dishing up the snow cones!

According to Booher, Charity Hutchison was the brains behind the day. She took the idea from the former John Warner Bank in Clinton, which the State Bank purchased in 2009. Pictured with Charity is Steve Kraft.

Hutchison said the bank in Clinton had a customer appreciation day every year, and she thought it was a great idea that could be brought to Lincoln as well. Above, bank employees man the serving line.

The Atlanta radio station was also on hand with remote broadcasts and music for the guests.

In spite of the high heat, Booher said there had been a nice turnout of people enjoying grilled hot dogs.
