Celebrate America at Immanuel Lutheran on July 4th

[July 03, 2012]  Immanuel Lutheran Church, across the parking lot from the high school football field, invites you to bring your lawn chair or blanket and join the spectators on the church lawn for the Fourth of July fireworks.

The celebration begins at 6 p.m. with a huge bake sale sponsored by church women. Proceeds from this annual event are used for projects within and outside the congregation, such as flood relief and local charities.

The youth of the congregation will be offering free popcorn throughout the evening and will have canned soda for sale. The men of the congregation will offer ice cream for sale. So people attending can purchase some cake at the bake sale and top it with ice cream for a cool treat as they await the fireworks.

Again this year Lesleigh Bennett will provide vocal entertainment.

There is lots of parking available and plenty of space for you and yours to sit and enjoy the festivities. Restrooms will be available for your convenience.

Come join the gathering as we celebrate America.
