Lincoln celebrates the 4th with an old-fashioned parade and a lot of water

Once the parade got under way, it didn't take long for the bikers to take the lead, while the walkers and wagon-pullers separated into a second wave of the parade.

The temperatures were high, but it was not yet the hottest part of the day. As the parade went down Wyatt Avenue, it appeared that everyone was faring well.
