JULY 10

MITER SAWS 

Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is recalling Miter Saws sold nationwide from January 2012 to April 2012. The lower guard can break and contact the blade during use, posing a laceration hazard. 

The recalled product is the SkilSaw® 10-inch compound miter saw, with model number 3316 and date codes 111, 112, 201, 202, 203 or 204. The model number and date code are on the lower right side of the name plate located on the motor housing.

JULY 11 

NIKON BATTERY PACKS 

Nikon is recalling Nikon digital SLR camera battery packs sold nationwide and in Canada from February 2012 to April 2012. The battery packs can short circuit, causing them to overheat and melt, posing a burn hazard. 

This recall involves Nikon EN-EL 15 rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs with lot numbers E and F. The battery pack was sold with the Nikon digital SLR D800 and D7000 model cameras. The battery pack's model number "EN-EL15" and "7.0V 1900mAh 14Wh" are printed on the back of the battery pack.

SWING SETS 

Troxel is recalling Flexible Flyer Swing Sets sold nationwide and in Canada from December 2011 to May 2012. The see saw seats can break away from the bolt fasteners during use, posing a fall hazard. 

The Flexible Flyer swing sets come in 11 different models each with a see saw attachment along with swings, bars or a slide. The model number can be found on a sticker located underneath the center of the top bar of each swing set unit. Model numbers and names are listed at www.recalls.org

STEP STOOLS 

Molenaar is recalling Folding Step Stools distributed as promotional products nationwide from March 2012 to May 2012. The folding step stools can break or collapse unexpectedly when in use, posing a fall hazard. 

This recall involves 13-inch high folding step stools. The step stool is plastic and has a handle for carrying the stool when it is folded. 

Consumers should return the stools to the business printed on the step stool to receive a different promotional item.

OLD NAVY GIRLS' SOCKS 

Old Navy is recalling Old Navy Toddler Girl Aqua Socks sold exclusively at Old Navy stores nationwide and in Canada from February 2012 to June 2012. This style of Aqua Socks have less traction when worn on wet or smooth surfaces such as hardwood or tile, creating a slip and fall hazard. 

The recall includes Old Navy Toddler Girl Aqua Socks with style number 896452. A small tag inside the foot opening contains the style number (896452), size information and country of origin (China). 

Consumers should return the socks to any Old Navy store for a full refund.

LIGHT SETS 

Family Dollar Stores is recalling 200 Mini Lights sold exclusively at Family Dollar stores from September 2011 to December 2011. The light sets do not meet the UL standard for this product and pose a fire and shock risk. 

The recalled decorative light sets have "200 Mini Lights" and "Multi Lights, Green Wire" printed on the red box. The product is identified by SKU # 2211428 and UPC # 049696720465 found on the back of the package. The product contains labels attached to a tag on the power cord with UL Listing # E346525 and Model # F0L200A4S. 

Consumers should return the product to a Family Dollar store for a full refund.

HIGH CHAIRS 

Chicco is recalling Polly High Chairs sold nationwide and in Canada from January 2005 to July 2012. Children can fall on or against the pegs on the rear legs of the high chair, resulting in a bruising or laceration injury. 

This recall involves a range of Chicco Polly high chairs with pegs on the back legs intended for tray storage. The recalled high chairs can be identified by the model number and date code printed on a label on the underside of the seat, close to the footrest.  Model numbers can be  found at www.recalls.org.
