[July 19, 2012]  Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital employees recently delivered over 1,100 items to the Lincoln/Logan Food Pantry as a result of their food drive. The plant operations staff had the largest collection and won a contest between ALMH departments.

Community responsibility is a core value of ALMH, and for the past several years the employee activity committee has conducted a food drive to collect items to help local families in need.

The "Great Place That Gives" campaign was considered a success. ALMH plans to repeat the event in the future.

"We have an excellent team at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. The staff is very generous. The food drive is the latest effort to do our part to enrich the quality of life in our community," said Dolan Dalpoas, president and CEO of ALMH.

Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital is a 25-bed critical-access hospital located in Lincoln and affiliated with Memorial Health System. For more information, visit www.almh.org.
