Dr. Stanley Allen joins Prompt Care

[July 19, 2012]  SPRINGFIELD -- Springfield Clinic has announced a new addition to the medical team at its Springfield-based Prompt Care locations. Stanley Allen, M.D., a specialist in internal medicine and pediatrics, will practice at Prompt Care Main, 1025 S. Sixth St., and Prompt Care West, 2200 W. Wabash.

Dr. Allen is a graduate of University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed his internal medicine and pediatrics residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and has practiced medicine in the Springfield area since 2000.

He is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Springfield Clinic Prompt Care is a no-appointment, walk-in medical clinic, staffed by board-certified physicians and midlevel providers. Patients can access these services daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the Main Campus facility is open 365 days a year. Prompt Care was established in March of 1992 and celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
