[July 21, 2012]  LINCOLN -- Kenneth D. Logan, 67, of Lincoln, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at 12:32 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Lincoln- Kenneth D. Logan, 67, of Lincoln passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 12:32 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date. At Mr. Logan's request his body has been cremated. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln.

Kenneth D. Logan was born on October 1, 1944 in Lincoln the son of Walter "Kayo" and Margaret "Maggie" Dempsey Logan.

He is survived by his siblings: Robert (Linda) Logan of Atlanta, Judith K. (Lynn) Haseley of Beason, Jo Ellyn (Don) Bode of Lincoln. His Nieces and Nephews: Greg Logan, Debbie Haseley, Eric Logan, Kelly Haseley, and Meghan (Tim) Heuring. Great Nieces: Chloe Heuring and Eriesha Logan, great nephew Cole Logan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and niece: Jennifer Bode.

Kenn graduated from Lincoln Community High School in 1962. He was a member of South Park Presbyterian Church in the Quad Cities.

Funeral Director

He was the owner and operator of Hair Design Studio in Lincoln for many years. He retired from Foster Family Music in 2009.

Kenn was a lifelong pianist and piano teacher. He also played piano for numerous churches, weddings and supper clubs. He was also a certified Steinway Representative.

He was a member of the Trinity West Hospital Auxiliary and Hospice Volunteer. Kenn was also a past board member of Lincoln Community Concert.

Kenn was a loving brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Memorials may be made to the Logan County Food Pantry or charity of donor's choice.
