People might have moved a little slower, and there was plenty of cold drinking water available at nearly every turn, but everyone seemed to be having a great time. Not surprisingly, ice cream was a big attraction. The monster-sized Boston sundae-topped malt seemed to be everyone's favorite, though some of the more health-conscious pondered before ordering it.

The weekend was packed with activities. Saturday afternoon featured a parade sponsored by Sons of the American Legion of Logan County and themed "Small Town USA."

Other activities and events included a car show, 5K and one-mile runs, various contests and prizes, craft show, concessions, fish fry, townwide garage sale, carnival rides, live music, and kiddie tractor pull.
