District 27 registration Aug. 1; 1st day of school Aug. 17

[July 27, 2012]  Opening day for Lincoln Elementary School District 27 has been scheduled for Aug. 17. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are to report to their respective schools at 8:30 a.m. on opening day. Lincoln Junior High School students, grades six through eight, are to report at 8:15 a.m.

School will be dismissed on the first day at 10:30 a.m. for grades one through eight at all buildings in the district and at 10 a.m. for kindergartners.

Most students in the district registered in April. Those who did not return registration papers then are asked to register on Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their school.

Registration fees for the 2012-13 school year are $48 for kindergarten and $65 for grades one through eight.
