[July 27, 2012]  A weak cold front will push across the area today, bringing slightly cooler and less humid air for the weekend. Rather than seeing afternoon temperatures at or above 100 degrees, the mercury is forecast to climb into the upper 80s to lower 90s for both Saturday and Sunday. A weak weather disturbance will approach the area late Saturday night into Sunday, bringing a chance for a shower or thunderstorm, mainly to western Illinois.
