The toughest work over,
AmeriCorps volunteers gladly restock shelves in Mission Mart on
Thursday. The volunteers hauled all the heavy boxes containing the
contents of the store either upstairs or out into storage lockers
during the hottest days last week,
with little to no air conditioning.
You
may notice one familiar face here. In a Superman shirt --
perhaps fittingly, given this week's challenges -- is Mike Robbins,
Mission Mart's store manager.
Mission Mart will reopen for business this morning after being
closed a week. While they were closed, the store had all the
carpeting replaced and got a few other "spruces."
