 There will also be vendors Saturday from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., along
with other activities including games, bingo and a cake walk.
A bags tournament is also planned for Saturday from 10 a.m. until

There will be 16 teams with a $20 entry fee per team.
The annual Olympia Area Kiwanis 5K Run and Walk will begin at
Veterans Memorial Park at 7:30 a.m. Registration will begin at 6:45.

The union church service will start at 10 a.m. and will feature
Shawn Degenhart & Gospel Fest. Bring your lawn chairs.
There will be a cruise-in again this year with lots of
entertainment and raffles. For more information, call Don Freitag,

An antique tractor pull, single-cylinder and small-gas engine
displays will also be at the park all day. The mini rods will be run
on Saturday.
America's Farmers Mobile Experience exhibit from Monsanto will be
available on Sunday. It is an interactive mobile event.

And there will be food... Free sweet corn will be handed out from
10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local organizations will make sure there is
plenty of other food on hand, ranging from chops to funnel cakes to
corn fritters and the highly popular lemon shake-ups.

Corn Daze is sponsored by the Minier Economic Development
Council, which is staffed by local volunteers whose mission is to
improve the quality of life in the Minier area by encouraging
economic growth through retaining, promoting and broadening business
