Debra Dee Ackerman, 58, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 7:30 a.m. at
her home.

Lincoln- Debra Dee Ackerman, 58, passed away at 7:30
a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at her home.
Debra was born on October 11, 1953, daughter of
Darrell Dean and Mary Lou Rau Mills.
She was a RN, BSN, Pain Management Service
coordinator and a Surgical Staff Nurse at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital for 37 years.

She married Donald Wayne Ackerman on June 1, 2002 at
Weldon Springs State Park in Clinton, IL. He
survives her.
Also surviving are her parents of Clinton, IL, one
son Adam (Kelly) Butts of Effingham, IL; one
daughter Amy (Chris) Davenport of Lincoln; two
brothers: David (Paula) Mills of Clinton and their
children Marc, Carey and Jon; Daniel (Sharon) Mills
of Clinton, IL, and their children Anna, Erica,
Sarah and Leah; one brother-in-law Ron (Deb)
Ackerman and their children Chris and Craig, and one
sister-in-law Susie (David) Starkel of St. Johns, AZ
and their children Mike and Missy.
Memorial services will be Saturday, June 2, 2012, at
1:30 PM at Fricke Calvert Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln, IL, with Pastor Kent Hickerson officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Dewitt County
4H or Springfield Memorial Home Services Hospice.
