[June 08, 2012]  OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- The annual auction of a private lunch with investor Warren Buffett ends Friday night, and the bids remain well below last year's $2.6 million winner.

In past auctions the price didn't typically reach astronomical levels until close to the end. The top bid on eBay Friday morning was $410,200.

Staff and supporters of the Glide Foundation, which uses the proceeds to help the homeless in San Francisco, will be watching the final bids come in at an auction party before the 9:30 p.m. deadline.

Buffett's raised more than $11.5 million for Glide in 13 past auctions.

The billionaire became one of the world's richest men while building Berkshire Hathaway into a conglomerate, but Buffett says most of the questions he gets at the lunches aren't about investing.
