Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1409 Pulaski St.(near the high school) in Lincoln is hosting VBS, "Operation Overboard" Sun., June 17 thru Wed., June 20 for ages 4 through sixth grade. Games start at 5:30 with a free supper at 6:00. VBS ends at 8:00 pm. To register., call the church at 732-6777. Everyone is welcome.


Open to the Public. First Baptist Church, 101 Broadway Street will sponsor a Summer Social and Pie Auction - Pulled Pork Bar-B-Q Sandwich and Sides Thursday, June 21, 4:30 to 6:30 with Pie Auction at 6:30. Adults $7.50; Children $4.00. Carry-outs available. Please use back entrance.

VBS Adventure in the Son! June 24-28, 2012 at Lincoln Christian Church, 204 N. McLean St. in Lincoln. Join us this summer for Sonrise National Park VBS, a week of fun in the Son! As they participate in fun-filled activities, kids will be pointed directly to Jesus! We will have a great time with lively songs, hilarious skits, creative crafts, exciting games, Bible stories and tasty snacks- all of the things that make Vacation Bible School so much fun for kids!

The Lincoln Church of the Nazarene, 2501 Woodlawn Rd., will be hosting "Parents Night Out!" We are inviting children ages 4 -10 to our church, transformed into the Starlight Space Center where they will enjoy a "Galactic Adventure with God"!, and will be entered into a drawing for a new bike!. You heard me right! Great food!, Awesome activities!, and Buckets of Galactic fun! at no cost to the parents!
Parents will enjoy 3 exciting hours out each night at any place of their choosing. We hope to give the first ten couples that sign up a gift certificate to one of our local restaurants.
The dates are June 28 and 29th 5:30 - 8:30 PM.
