Meet a Farmer Day set for families

[June 15, 2012]  NORMAL -- Moms, dads, kids and grandparents: You are invited to Meet a Farmer Day on Saturday. This family event at the Children's Discovery Museum in Normal is dedicated to food education for the whole family.

Farmers know you have questions about where your food comes from, and interactive play stations in the AgMazing exhibit on the second floor of the Children's Discovery Museum will help answer those questions.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Meet a Farmer Day is hosted by Illinois Farm Families and the Illinois Soybean Association.
