Thursday as emergency service
agencies gathered in Lincoln to practice dealing with a series of
terrorist-like incidents in the area, it took a lot of people on the
scene to make the scenarios look and feel real.
Members of the Jefferson Street Christian Church as well
as some of the Lincoln Rural Fire Young Explorers volunteered to be
the victims in the mock disasters.

The goal is to get all the children as far
away from the anhydrous gas as possible.
|
Spraying the tank helps dissipate the gas and
cools the tank, lowering the pressure inside and slowing the gas
flow. |
