[June 18, 2012]  The Lincoln Tennis Association, a newly formed organization in Lincoln, has teamed up with the Lincoln Elks Lodge to offer summer youth tennis camps in June and July.

The camps will be geared to school grade levels one through eight.

The first camp will be June 25-28. Each day there will be a one-hour session from 11 a.m. to noon for grades one through four. From noon to 1 p.m., the sessions will be for grades five through eight. Within each session the children will be grouped according to their age, and lessons will be conducted accordingly.

The second camp will be July 16-19 with the same daily schedule.

The clinics are being made possible due to the Elks Club benevolence fund and a small grant from the United States Tennis Association for 10-and-under tennis.

During the camp, racquets and balls will be provided to the kids.
