Lincoln Fire Department hosts 'neighborhood kids cool-off' days

[June 19, 2012]  Saturday the Lincoln Fire Department had their first "neighborhood kids cool-off" day at the Apex on Eighth Street.

If you missed it, don't worry, there are going to be several opportunities this summer for kids to come out and get a refreshing shower courtesy of the fire department.

The summer schedule is as follows:

  • June 20, 6 p.m., at Melrose Park
    (30 minutes)

  • June 24, 3 p.m., at Latham Park
    (30 minutes)

  • July 4, 11 a.m., at the Lincoln Park District
    (1 hour)

  • July 18, 6 p.m., at Allison Park
    (30 minutes)

  • July 22, 3 p.m., at Lehn & Fink Park
    (30 minutes)

  • Aug. 1, 6 p.m., at Scully Park
    (30 minutes)

  • Aug. 5, 3 p.m., at White Park
    (30 minutes)
