Gail's Pumpkin Patch and PrairiErth Farm to participate in farm tours this weekend

[June 21, 2012]  Gail's Pumpkin Patch, rural Beason, and PrairiErth Farm, rural Atlanta, are included in a self-guided tour Sunday afternoon. University of Illinois Extension in Logan, Menard and Sangamon counties has arranged the Openfields Farm Tour as an opportunity to learn about locally grown food and meat local producers.

Also on the tour are Sally's Fields at Glenarm and Veenstra's Vegetables at Rochester.

Hours for the tour are noon to 4 p.m.
