LINCOLN --
James "Jack" Newton DuPuy, 72, of Lincoln, died Saturday, June 16,
2012, at Maple Ridge Care Centre.

James "Jack" Newton DuPuy, 72, of Lincoln, passed
away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Maple Ridge Care
Centre.
Jack was born on July 26, 1939 in Beckley, WV the
son of Elbert Newton and Ruth Christine Griffenhagen
DuPuy.
Jack graduated from Duke University with a degree in
Accounting in 1962. He served 8 years in the
National Guard. He was a CPA and had worked for
Arthur Andersen in Chicago and the State of Illinois
Department of Lottery in Springfield. He was a
member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in
Springfield.

He is survived by two children, Catherine Ann DuPuy
of Columbus, OH and Alfred Castle DuPuy of Toronto,
Canada; two brothers, Karl DuPuy of Washington, DC
and William DuPuy of Spring Green, WI, and five
grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at a later date in
Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago.

Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln is
in charge of arrangements.
