[June 30, 2012]  The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued an excessive heat warning until 7 p.m. Sunday. Due to increasingly high temperatures, it is recommended that all individuals stay in a cool environment and drink plenty of water and fluids.

A cooling center is available at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, 200 Stahlhut Drive, for anyone needing to cool off or rest comfortably. The hospital is asking all individuals to sign in at the information desk in the front lobby. The cooling center will be available all weekend from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
